You are paying a whole lot more for 3D printed padding that doesn’t make the helmet safer or more comfortable and it seems has some premature wear issues. It looks like you pay more and get less.

I recently saw and ad for a $300 helmet where the material that absorbs the impact is 3D printed and has a longer lifespan, at least 5 years. That looks more interesting and if it works as advertised might be worth the premium price.

I love every other aspect of my Caipi, so I ended up setting it, and locking it in place with a drop of superglue two years ago. Still going strong!
