Suweeka Hitch Rack Raises & Lowers, Then Disappears

Suweeka’s upcoming Lifter Rack uses a unique mounting system and introduces an automatic lift-and-lower design that makes it easier to load heavy e-bikes and e-motos. It’ll carry up to 240lbs, or 120lbs per tray, and pops off the hitch mount in just a few seconds.

The tray sits on articulating arms with a gear shaft to raise and lower it. You can connect an electric drill to make it quick, or crank it by hand. It’ll come all the way down to the ground, so you can simply roll your bikes (or motos) onto it, then raise it for driving.

Once the bikes are on, a moveable arm with quick-pull straps clamps onto the frame to keep the bike secure and stable.

It also folds up when not in use, or…

The tray and hinge are one big unit, and the entire thing detaches without having to slide it out of your trailer hitch. Lock their base module into your hitch, then the rack slots on with their Quick Connect System.

It’s a modular system that will likely have more parts and options available in the future, but they’re starting with this 2-bike rack.

Pre-orders open December 15, with a $100 deposit getting you in the queue for the $2,600 rack. It’s designed and will be manufactured in the USA. It’ll only be available for 2″ receivers.

$2600!!!!!!! My God!!! Even if it came with a 12 V motorized push button raising & lower switch it still wouldn’t be worth $2600. You still have to hand crank the thing to get the bikes up and down? That is ridiculous. There are way better receiver mounted bike racks out there for less than half the price of this..

…I need one for my Revi Cheetah…..I can use my Harbour Freight one for my motorcycles I guess….but just about any and all bike racks will not accommodate my bad ass Cheetah

Seriously? Needlessly complex, and that modular connection is a major weak point – imagine 200+ lbs of bikes in that contraption bouncing along some of the access roads in Moab or mountain shuttle road. Nope. I thought the $1300 Kuat with the built-in lock and workstand attachment was overkill…..this rack will never make it at this price point. If it had a lockable toolbox, workstand arm, air compressor, and 110v charger for e-bikes and usb devices, maybe someone would pay $1800, but only if it had an electric hoist and is handmade in the USA. How heavy is this beast? And where will you make it disappear to when you take it off your vehicle? Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
