New Zealand’s own Aeroe, the manufacturer of the award-winning and user-friendly Spider bike rack/carrier system, has released a new way to carry your pannier. The new Spider Pannier Rack is designed specifically to help make your everyday commuting easier while adding more bag-carrying security.
The new Spider Pannier Rack and Spider Pannier Reciever have all of the functionality of their Spider Rear Rack, with the added ability to accept any brand of pannier bag making it an easy sell to someone who may already have a favorite pannier brand.

To help meet the needs of a specific ride, the Spider Pannier rack base provides a base layer that can also host, or be mixed and matched with all of Aeroe’s other rack accessories, like the cradles and pods. It uses the same quick-release, so the rider can easily add or remove the rack in seconds, or even swap it between bikes.
Aeroe’s Design Lead, Phil Gallagher explains, “It was important to us to create a solution that worked just as well for small frames and dropper posts as it did for larger frames and fixed posts. In the bike accessory world, they’re often forgotten which can make for a frustrating commute or mountain bike ride for those riders“.
Alongside the launch of the Pannier Rack, comes the launch of the Spider Pannier Reciever. This product is the top platform piece that allows the standard Spider Rear Rack to become a pannier rack. The Spider Pannier Reciever will keep your panniers secure with an in-built top rail and lower catch.
